The Cathedral Eucharist

Sung by the Cathedral Choir

Worship has taken place at Carlisle Cathedral for almost 900 years and continues today. Our Sunday Eucharist service includes music sung by the Cathedral choirs and played on the magnificent Willis organ.

To find out which choir is singing, and for details of the music played, see the music list here:

Our services are free to attend and all are welcome, including children.   After the Collect children from 8 years old leave to go to the Prior's Tower to take part in a Young People's session and return during the Peace.  Children under 8 years are welcome, accompanied by a parent.  Busy bags are also available from the back of the Cathedral for children who wish to stay with their parents.  Parents and pre-school children are welcome to use the Canons' Vestry during the service at any time, where there are play-things available.
