Cathedral Gift Shop
Cathedral Gift Shop
Located just inside the entrance to the Cathedral, the Gift Shop stocks a wide range of items to suit all ages, tastes, and budgets, many of which are locally made and Fair Trade. You will find textiles, jewellery, prints, hand-turned wood ware, plus speciality foods, an extensive range of cards for all occasions, and our exclusive range of fine English bone china items, decorated with the rich blue design of the cathedral’s barrel-vaulted ceiling.
We are happy to supply gifts by mail order if you wish. Please contact us by phone on 01228 548071 or by email to email@example.com
We are open Monday to Saturday, from 10am - 4pm October until Easter, and until 5pm during the summer period. The shop is staffed entirely by a team of volunteers; and all profits generated contribute to the upkeep of the Cathedral. We hope you enjoy your visit, and we welcome feedback from customers to help us improve the range of goods and service we offer.
* Our 2014 Christmas Cards are now in stock! *
We are looking for volunteers to join our shop team. If you can spare a few hours a week please contact Wendy Murrell - firstname.lastname@example.org
We are now able to take your payment electronically by credit/debit card. £5 minimum transaction applies. Please note that we are unable to accept American Express.
Gift Vouchers available
Gift vouchers are available at the Gift Shop and the Prior's Kitchen. If you are not sure what to buy, why not let them chose themselves from the wide range of items on offer. Available in £5, £10, £15 and £20 values. Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months of the date of purchase.
We are also now stocking wonderful stained glass roundels and paperweights, based on windows here in the Cathedral, and locally produced by Winged Heart, who also make similar objects for St Paul's, Westminster Abbey and York Minster.
Additionally, we are stocking quite a few new and unusual lines which are proving very popular, so if you haven't visited for a while, it could be worth another look.
