How can I help?
Your help is vital. Carlisle Cathedral does not receive any grant from the Government, the Church Commissioners or the Diocese for the continuing programme of the repair and renewal of our important building.
The Fratry Project: Bringing untold stories to life was launched in 2012 to develop the teaching and learning work of the Cathedral and to refurbish the Fratry – the surviving medieval dining hall of the Priory.
The project received a Development Grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund in 2011 but we must raise almost £1million if we are to receive a further HLF grant of £910,000 to make our hopes a reality.
Your donation is a vital contribution to the life and development of the Cathedral. Please give generously and regularly.
How can I donate?
There are many different ways to donate to Carlisle Cathedral. What is important is that the way you choose suits your circumstances.
