Sung Eucharist for Trinity Sunday

@ Carlisle Cathedral

Preacher: Bishop David Thomson, Bishop of Huntingdon

Ever since 1541, Carlisle Cathedral has been dedicated to the Holy and Undivided Trinity – that is God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

So when Trinity Sunday comes round each year, we have another special reason to celebrate God on whose life our life depends, God who has saved us through the death and resurrection of his Son Jesus Christ, and God who sanctifies us by the power of his Holy Spirit. We gather for the Trinity Sunday Eucharist at 10.30am. The preacher is Bishop David Thomson, Bishop of Huntingdon.

This is also the day when those who have a particular responsibility within the governance and worship of the Cathedral are asked to attend to answer to their name at the annual Roll Call. It is an important way to recognise how many people contribute to the worship and witness of the Cathedral.
